Cold water wakeboarding

How is the lake not frozen or are you on the river. Everything down here is frozen. Usually in March we thaw out enough to ski in the morning and water ski in the afternoon, always fun. Good pics thanks for sharing

Somewhere in my gallery I have a pic of me in a drysuit when we went and the water was 36 and the air was 30 lol ah the days.

Safety note, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE wear a PFD under your dry suit. if you wipe out and rip the suit you will be weighing a ton and the clothes will be very heavy (depending on how much you have on). People have died due to that mistake.

Glad it all worked out though and you had fun.

Smith Mtn Lake Water Ski club anual polar bear day

My twin bro does it every year. He is president of the SML water ski club (Smith Mountain Lake, VA) and they have done a polar bear day every new years day for the past 15, 16, 18 years or something like that. I have posted pics from his facebook page from this years event. "He does it bareback," I'm sure the conditions aren't as cold as ID, but they did have snow on the ground this year. Check it out...........

Last spring I decided to go out and ski while it was snowing just so I could say I did. Water temp was about 36* and air temp was 28* here's some pictures to prove it. Oh and wetsuit only!!

You guys are brave, I would be worried that something would happen and the water would freeze in the motor. Not many other boats out there for a tow.
