I did see a Travis Pastrana ride off a several hundred foot cliff at Lake Powell on a big wheel on MTV's Nitro Circus. But he used a parachute after his initial fall. Wallacmc, just post some of your regular pics of Norris.

The family wanted to be able to accomodate about 40 for a family reunion and the houseboat could not handle the number.
We rented about 8 Condos at SweetWater. It was really fun, but not Powell fun.The laughter of the world is merely loneliness pathetically trying to reassure itself. - Neal A. Maxwell

It gets quite choppy on the big holidays, but other than that, you can generally find a real nice branch with great water. Keep in mind, one whole shoreline is undevelopeable due to the fact that it is a wildlife management area, a big reason why there are so many trees. The water level will drop 20-30 feet over the late summer/fall/winter and fill back up to the tree line in the spring. It is a great place to boat. That is why we drive the extra distance from Cincinnati instead of going to Cumberland or Brookville in IN, where you put your life on the line while boating.

Even on Labor Day weekend we had plenty of glass in the middle of the day for great surfing (my pictures above are from Labor Day). I grew up skiing on Lake Cumberland, which is huge, but it is so busy anymore and every cove has a houseboat tied up in it. We passed on Cumberland and went to Norris as it's a better watersports lake...IMHO.
