    Waiting for the time.

So I thought I would get a jump on the sun. All it is going is making me anxious!!! Got my teak all cleaned and oiled and my seats off to the upholstery shop. It put me in the mood to drop in the new system and some bags... installed the Alpine CDA-9886M head-unit and an mc-10 wireless remote above the platform, got the kicker 450.2 and my KMT6's up which I don't know if I'm going to be able to hear them after turning them up in my garage I may be deaf... My bags are coming in Monday along with 2 tsunami's looking at 1100 max in the back and 550 up front. NOW I JUST WANT IT TO BE WARM!!!!!

What is the process of installing ballast in a 20i? What does it take? Is it possible?

      sacs

Your possibilities are endless. there is not much storage space in the rear and none under my 22i. I have ordered some custom sized sacs from Fly High you give them dimensions and they will make them. they recommend you over size a sac to a compartment because then it will just conform and fill the space and you get more weight. I was able to find some that were ordered wrong that were with in an inch of the sizes I wanted and got them cheap! I ended up with 4 bags and two tsunami 1200gph for under $600. Fly High's sacks are made from the same material used to make whitewater rafts!! They assured me that there is no problem with even putting them out in the open and having people sit crawl lay or even walk on them. I mean think about a white water raft all the abuse it has to be able to handle bouncing off sharp rocks with all that force behind it. I was able to order a sac to lay in the front walkway that is around 500# I get 1 for either side of the engine compartment at 450-500# and one to put in my rear locker above the swim platform 250#. It's going to leave me enough weight to add 10 150# people and still be legal.

        i See

I have a couple of fat sac's I fill up and they work well. I was wondering about installing I guess tanks? that would be under the floor. I'm sure its a big job and prob not worth the time.

I have a 22v riders edition. I have a 1450lbs sac in each rear locker and a 225 lbs sac in the bow. I probally not legal, but I have no Capacity plate. With 10 people in the boat it puts out a massive wake.

Pulling the interior of the boat apart to put in tanks would not be feasible IMO, plus the cost of custom tanks. You might luck up and find someone selling a set of the factory tanks, but that take up the storage space even when empty. Besides, the factory tanks on a 22i is only 600lb's. The best and most cost effective solution is to go with sacs. Fly High makes a wide selection of shapes and sizes, as well as custom. I would first look to see if they have a std or semi-sac that is technically larger than, or as close to, the compartment you want to store it in. Close dimensions of the storage compartment will tell you how much each sac will weigh when filled.

You indicate that you have a couple of sacs already. Do you know which ones they are, i.e size, dimension or possible model #? Where do you place them? Are you happy with the wake size, shape, and cleanliness? The DD's seem to really like a 50/50 split, I would try to stay close to that or whatever you current front/back weight distribution is (unless your not happy). Before ordering either a standard or custom sac for a specific location for a plumbed in system, I recommend you get the wake dialed in.

Once the wake is dialed in, then decide where you can, and want to, stow the sacs. Then we can figure what sacs will fit the best and give you total that's as close to what gave you the best wake. After that, it's just a matter of deciding what type of pumps you want to go with and putting the plumbing together.

I cant help much with any specifics about weighting a 20i, but the rest, I be more then happy to help you with the sac, plumbing, planning and installation.

With 2k in the rear and only 225 in the bow, do you not find the wake to be washed out? Most find the Tige V's to like at least a 50/50 split, and a 60/40 ft/rr even better.
