    Need summer!

Last summer was the 2nd year of boating and got a lot of sun and was feeling real good taking all the precautions. Now with the clouds, rain, and snow about the only thing I can get up for is work. Funny thing is I used to live for winter sports. Just the first time in my life I am feeling the withdraws of summer with out the school factor. How does everyone else doing?

Well, the day of work I have had today would cause me to to take a month of vacation. At this time, I would be boating all day for 30 days straight.

I'm a bit of the opposite...I always lived for the summers at the beach. But now I'm stuck inland...I live for the summers on the water, and live for the snow in the winter.

I'm practicing being a all around ski bum!

            Duckboat:

I'm with ya. We just tucked the 22Ve in the garage. This is 24 winters after summer boating fun and it still sucks. we are same as you on 2nd yr with the Tige (prior 2 boats were Formula 24 & 28) and I absolutely love this boat. Its a blast w wife and 8 yr old. Wake surfing is big thrill although we suck at it. I'm already thinking about April to get started since thats when we usually get wet here in Atlanta and by May its cranking pretty good. So the boat show is January and then its only 4 mos.......gee what's the next toy to add for the Tige? FAE would be nice.

Winter sucks here.... We'll head west and do some snow skiing this winter but that will just help hold me over. I'll be coping by doing some upgrades to my boat. I'm adding a FAE (sitting in a box right now) and replacing the swim platform padding. Can't wait for summer...neither can the kids!

After the New Years celebrations are over, I'm watching the calender.

Our goal is to go out at least once per month after Thanksgiving...then regularly late March. Like others it's a great time for upgrades and sending some quality time with your boat.

My riders spend a lot of time on the trampoline and I think I'll get them a Indo Board for Christmas. I see snowboards are pulled out in our basement and ready to hit the mountain!

You guys don't have wetsuits? January was probably my best month behind the boat last year. Nobody on the water except me and some fisherman makes glassy runs.

What really sucks is that I had to put my boat away early due to the lack of water in our lakes

Move to California or Florida. Your withdrawls will become quickly sedated.
