    XTREME Engine Heater

I live in Texas and plan on using my boat through out the winter so as an alternative to winterizing; I want to use the XTREME heater to protect the engine when we have our occasional freeze. Anyone using them? Feedback?

    Got a link?

It only takes a few minutes to drain the block and reinstall the plugs. We ride year-round and pull the plugs right there on the ramp and let it drain on the ride home, then reinstall later. Then she's ready to go for the next trip, but safe from freezing temps.

Just got one for our boat: http://www.xtremeheaters.com/
I called and talked to them and they recommended one size larger if the boat is stored on a trailer or lift - I went with the 450. I will still drain the block and have it ready to go like chptril says...also for added protection or in case of a power outage.
