I live in Texas and plan on using my boat through out the winter so as an alternative to winterizing; I want to use the XTREME heater to protect the engine when we have our occasional freeze. Anyone using them? Feedback?

It only takes a few minutes to drain the block and reinstall the plugs. We ride year-round and pull the plugs right there on the ramp and let it drain on the ride home, then reinstall later. I called and talked to them and they recommended one size larger if the boat is stored on a trailer or lift - I went with the 450. I will still drain the block and have it ready to go like chptril says...also for added protection or in case of a power outage.Comment
