The boat is put away in storage and we actually had snow in our yard yesterday. But for fall break (mid Oct), we stayed at Lake Las Vegas, just next to Lake Mead. The air temperature was in the mid-90's and the water temp was 78. We had a great time. If you are looking for a nice place to stay near Lake Mead for a fairly reasonable price, try several of the resorts in Lake Las Vegas on Expedia. Fall is the best for Lake Mead. (Sorry evil0ne for not calling you, one of our kids was sick and didn't want to spread the joy).

I was in Provo today...Utah lake looked like all butter.

Mona lake was so calm you did not realize it was there, just pure reflection.

Yeah, I was mountain biking today and kept looking at the Lake and regretting that it was winterized and I didn't own a dry suit!

My mom's family owns some land right on Mona Resevoir that I tried to buy but they weren't interested.

We were planning on coming down, but I haven't been able to find a place -- everything sold out in Green Valley So I guess we are going to have to rough it up here in the North. Thank you for thinking of us!
