Where can I find replacement rub rail cheap?

    Hi all,
I would like to replace the rub rail insert on my 02 21v. The previous owner of my boat seems to have kept it tied to a dock like a dog.
Does anybody have any leads on a source with the best price?
My closest tige dealer is over two hours away and I am sure I can do it myself.
    Thanks in advance.

Search the internet under rub rail. Dealer wants $175-$200 for OEM insert.

Great....I thought that was just for the part. Can you please confirm the price. I need to order one for my 22ir (grey insert). Got a little out of control at the Bluewater marina during spring break. Rail worked like a charm and took all the damage.

So far the best selection and prices I have found is at www.boatersworld.com and they have free shipping for over $100. Guess I will have to pry mine out to look at the profile to be sure I get the righ stuff. So far most of it is sold in 50ft rolls, hope that is enough to do a 21v guess I will have to measure.
Anybody find any better selection and prices please feel free to post it!

you know, if you by it from the tige dealer you will not have to guess at "i hope 50' is long enough" or " i need to check the profile". that is why it is free shipping. you can ship back and forth till you get it right. on the other hand, order it from tige and you know it will be right. if for some reason it's not, it's not your fault. remember, you get what you pay for.

            part #p4010 $61.88 + tax

              Update...
If I had known a dealer would have given it to me at that price I probably would have gone that way!
Before I saw that my research was done and it was on the way.

So for the benefit of others I will post my findings.
http://www.tacomarine.com/diypages/flexiblevinyl.asp seem to be by far the largest supplier. They have large diagrams of all of their products and even a installation guide for all types of rub rail.

This is what my boat has...

              Part#: V11-0418BKA50-1
              Description: FLEXIBLE VINYL RUB RAIL
              Height: 1 9/16"
              Width: 3/4"
              Length: 50'
              Color: BLACK
              Screw size: #8t
              Insert: V12-0418BKA50
              Endcap: F90-0002BKN-1

I measured it out carefully and 50' should do my 21v, if I have anything more than a couple of inches left over it will be because of a generous cut. So a bigger boat will definatly need the 70' (just replace the 50 with a 70 at the end of the part number and probably another $20.
They will not sell to the general public, I had to go to boaters world $79.99 for the insert only. If you need the whole thing add a "C" note.

              Thanks for the replies!

suggestion, don't try to instal the insert when it is cold. lay it out in the driveway in the sun for an hour or so. when installing it, you will be pulling and stretching it into the base. it's easier to get some help from a buddy. use a rubber mallet to push the insert into the base. it will need some convincing. if you instal it too loose it will fall out the first time you hit something, dock, trailer guide post, etc. so, when your done you will have a few feet left.

                  Thanks Tige MD,
I had thought about the laying out in the sun, but stretching it into place so it would not easily pop out had not even crossed my mind, makes sense! I was however thinking of wiping it and the track down first with some good vinyl protectant like 303 or something to make is so slick it would nearly fall in there and be well protected even inside.
It will look so much the better with a shiny new belt!
