I am going to put it all out on the line right here. My personal experience is that all boats have problems. My 2006 MC has not been any more trouble free than my 2005 Tige was. There were design flaws I find pretty piss-poor on the MC...and there were a few of those on the Tige too.

I just think the MC does not justify the price difference. So if I can get into a newer boat that might have a warranty and a newer feel without a big layout of cash, I will do it.

This thread will typically ramble on, so I will hijack. The top of the list are an Tige RZ2 and Malibu 247. So when I sell, I will have to see what is available and pick what seems best. To be honest, I am still leary of the whole screen thing until they have been out for a few years...so I would probably pick an 09 model year. There are some great deals on 09's out there...but I can't buy one until I sell, I am not going to do a Da Bell and own 2 boats at the same time. I have a lot of little cleanup items on my MC that might scare away a few buyers, so realistically, it might not happen until spring.

I would really like to come home.

Don't know of any personally, but there are some pics of the surf wake on TMCowners.com and it is unbelievable. I don't think anyone has really commented on doing anything else with it other than pleasure cruising.

Thanks. I went there and watched the video. The X55 has always been my dream boat and close to the Cobalt 250 that I used to own.
The video's are just sales hype gimmicks IMO...the only way to know is to get out behind one for a day (not an hour) and check it out. Then comes price....which is absolutely ridiculous. By no means do I dislike our RZ4, we love it. But a 25 footer would be ideal for inter coastal boating.
