You might be able to turn on the boat boat so the gas guage reads and have someone watch the guage. Then go slow so the guage will keep up and when you get close slow way way down or just stop at that point and call it full. Just an idea.

If my flow meter says 22.5 gal I need to put in 22.3-22.7 gal every time.

Just make sure you have the bow on the boat on facing the down slope at the gas station.

Sorry for the crappy drawing but you will get the idea.

If you have the bow slope up the gas only has one place to go and that's back at you.

I thought I was the only person experiencing this and whenever I upgraded from my 99' it would be a right of passage to have a new Tige that wouldnt spray gas. Thanks for ruining my dreams .....

I try and remember how full my tank was when I last used the boat and usually can watch the vapors come out of the opening when it's getting close to full. Also I can hear it getting closer to the top. Just go slow, take a few seconds to let the fuel settle and you will be fine. I don't put the pump on a setting, I hold it and this forces me to pay more attention the the amount of fuel being pumped in. 2008 RZ2

The key is to try not to fill it full. It's highly recommended by experts and the Coast Guard to leave room for expansion from the Summer heat. What I try to do is fill slow and listen for the fuel to start gurgling up the filler neck, you can hear this by a change pitch. When I get to this point, the tank it almost full, so I release the handle and call it good.

Happened to me all the time, no matter what I tried! Now all I do is hold the gas nozzle all the way in, so that the round rubber splash guard seals well to the boats fill plate. This allows the gas pumps auto kick off to work correctly and stop the flow of fuel before it backs up on you! Since I've been doing this, I've had no problems filling my 2009 RZ2! I now know its full when the gas pump keeps kicking off and won't let me add any more Fuel!

This is going to sound stupid, but try it with the gas handle pointing up.

I've tried that too. putting the nozzle in inverted. still a problem. seems that slowest flow setting and dont fill to top is all that helps. seems like they could design something better.

Put your ear next to it, you can hear the gurgle. I haven't had an overflow in years.

Mine gurgles for about a nanosecond before it comes out.

I did a couple of times when I first got the boat, but since then I havent. I hardly ever fill it all the way up, since I like to water ski, I hardly ever fill it up past half way. When I do fill it up, I try to figure about how much is already in the tank from the gauge, I put the nozel on the slowest notch, and when I know that I am getting close I will run it manully and stop every minute for a few seconds.
