Cable park in Cali???

I was just looking at an old wakeboarding mag article that talked about cable parks. Who here has any connections to get a cable park put in at the new great park they are building in OC?(that would be nice huh?)

It looks like Texas has the closest cable park to us in Cali. Do any of of you know of anything closer?

Where is the cable park in Texas? There used to be one between Houston and Galveston back in the early 1990's...but its since closed down. It would be fun to hit up again with my buddies for an old school adventure.

Hey Chris,
There is also a newer park in Oklahoma between OKC and Stillwater off of I-35 but I do not know the name of it. You could do a day there and then hit the strip in Stillwater

Thanks for the info on the cable park in NB, TX. Could be fun to do that then float the river and relax!

Also good to know that there is one up in OK...but doubtful we'll make a 6 hour drive from Houston for it. The only time I can convince everyone to make a long haul is for a 4-wheeler trip to Mena, AR.

Hey Steve! I should come visit ya'll, but the temptation to do something is too great everytime I see ya'll! And with selling our home, buying another home, and the baby girl due in January...makes it difficult (personally) to visit you. Less tempation if I call! No... I mean "The Great Park". Here is a brief description I found for it.

The former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro is being transformed into the Orange County Great Park, the first great metropolitan park of the 21st Century.

Spanning more than 1,300 acres, the Great Park will be nearly twice the size of New York’s Central Park..

IMO... a perfect spot for a cable park!
