    Tower photos

Does anybody have photos of the 07 and 08 rZ 2 towers folded down? Also what's the clearance on these?

Is that tower the same that is on the 2008 Z1? If so, I can get pictures and measurements off mine...It’s in my garage.

The tower depends upon which one you are talking about.

I have the E-Tower and with the trailer, my height from floor to highest point is 7'2". So, the standard garage in CA isn't going to work since it's 7'.

I have an 08 Z1 and I store it in my garage. It takes two people to do it because of how it breaks down. My wife has to jump in and lift the tower while I back it up into the garage. Basically the when the tower is down the two points where you bolt down to secure the tower sticks up to high. When she lifts the tower they flatten back out.

I hope that isn't too confusing. I was really worried the first time after collapsing the tower and just looking at the way the tower ending sticking up at those two points

It is a little bit more work but I am saving big money in the long run

I cant give you accurate measurements, as the trailer will have a huge part in this, but I can say that both the "E" and "Z" series tower will fold down to just above windshield height. Both can be lowered/raised by one person.

That is true, only one person is needed to fold down the tower. It just takes the two of us while I back the boat into the garage.

I have an 07 rz2. The tower folds down very easy. Its a little heavy with a bunch of speakers on it but its very doable. The height is at or just above the windsheild. The hardest part is unscrewing the botls that lock it into place.

so it just a couple of minutes to do. reason I ask is we live about 20 miles from the lake and only go for day trips. I will be breaking it down every time I go out and come back.

Measure to highest point of the windshield and add 6". this will get you a ballpark unless someone can actually provide a folded measurement, but the trailer can make a difference of a few inches. Tower raised is in the 11+ range, but there again, the trailer will make a diff.
