Oh great another Californian moved up here.
Just kidding I moved up here from San Diego 16 years ago.
I hope you like really wet $hitty weather because if so you came to the right state.
Sorry I can't help you with places to ride up there.

That's what I hear.......been nice so far though! Lake Washington looks amazing anyhow, plus I'm only 1.3 miles to the Kirkland launch. I hear it's like $40 a year also! I love the snow too! I used to live in
mammoth so I'm ready for it! Bring it on!!!!!!

Lake Sammamish, is probably the least busy out of the two.

Head east my friend. There are many nice lakes in Eastern Washington and the weather is much better. The two lakes you mentioned are busy on weekends when it's nice. Get a drysuit and ride all winter and you'll have the lake too yourself. I put the boat away this weekend for the winter (lake temp is down to 60) and I'm a whimp!

            Oh where to start:

Lake Washington is a large lake that will easily be stirred up by 11am. Lake Sammamish which is my favorite overall has a great boat launch but again will be packed on a summer day. My Favorite for a weekend trip is the Columbia River right at the Bebee bridge just below Lake Chelan.

As far as the Dealer Sportboats Northwest: They have been good to me but dont get used to seeing the same person twice. The sales staff is changing all the time as well as the service Manager. Also in my opinion there current location on lake union sucks due to having to negotiate the pot holed tight streets with 40 plus feet of truck and trailer.

                Wow Debby Downer...

I moved to the PNW from Hawaii in 2002, and I was telling my wife the other night that I think that I'm officially an Oregonian because I'm actually looking forward to the rain and cloudy weather. Kind of grow on you.......the last 6 years I dreaded winter in the PNW.
