    Winterizing + Heater Winterizing

I was searching for how to winterize my heater core & thought I'd find a definitive Winterizing Checklist. Lots of semi instx but no tige definitive list. Can someone point me to where one is or write one? that would be a good 'sticky' thread.

I used to know how to do my old boat's carbuerated I/O, & the fuel injected vDrive should be easier to chg oil, drain.... but want to learn tips of heater core & basic checklist overall.

    thx in advanvce

What engine do you have? The winterizing steps are the same, but different engines have different drain plug locations and quantity. Have you tried the "Search" button (white lettering/black bar near top), there are TONS of threads with all the basics. From there, it's just a matter of clearing up any specifics in regards to your year model and engine.

As far as the heater, the easiest thing to do is disconnect both hoses @ the engine, let the water drain, then blow compressed air through one hose to push any remaining air out of the core through the other hose. It's not worth trying to run marine/rv antifreeze through, no does it need to be bone dry.

my bad. I had looked in SEARCH, but put winterinzing and the list was too big. When I put Winterinzing Marine Power 340 much more manageable.
