Fresh Air Exhaust on Challenger Ladder Mount

Finished installing custom Mono-exhaust Fresh Air Exhaust on 2009 RZ2, this weekend. FAE came up with a solution to attach it to existing Challenger Ladder mount. Thanks Larry for working with me on this one.
Here are some pics, there was no need for installing a fake exhaust port on the starboard side.

Larry is a great guy even when not dealing with an FAE. Last year he helped me deal with my cluster head aches. I still get them but because Larry and I chatted about them he helped me out locating a chiropractor in my area that was able to reduce the frequency and pain level. Thanks a lot Larry, I can deal with the attacks but employer can't.

If I find a new job before next season ,I will work with Larry to make me a custom FAE that does not extend as far as the stock one so I don't have to remove it each time I put my boat into the garage. My 20V on the trailer is just over 20'6". But new job first.

Add an FAE and it will be very close fit. I have a 21'3" deep garage(from sill plate to back of where overhead door comes down to gives me another 2" to the drywall) and if I can get the boat backed in so that it is at a right angle to the wall the taps plate is about 4" from wall. Depending on how close the FAE downtube can get to Taps plate it should fit. I still have a little wiggle room in front of trailer which allows me to go around boat to third stall

        Kerlee,

Were you only able to install the mono-FAE because of the Challenger ladder or can this be done on any 09 RZ2?

From what I can tell it should be able to be installed with the standard square tube mounted to the swim platform bracket as on the FAE website. I had the challenger ladder installed and I did not want to drill 4 extra holes in the hull for the dummy exhaust port. Larry was able to work with it. Just give Larry a call.

Per Kerry's comments - The normal mount on the newer Tige fiberglass platform would have a square tube bracket that runs across the distance between the platform mounting brackets that it would attach to for support (as opposed to the Challenger ladder mount).

Is it half price because there's only one flange now .
