    Paying homage to the wave

A friend of mine's son was wakesurfing and found a new tradition for the wakesurfer: paying homage to the wave that gave a good ride. This is in the spirit of the polynesian tradition of ocean surfing to thank the ocean and the wave for the opportunity to surf.

Here is where I wax emotional about the good fortune that I have had to own boats and participate with other great people who I have met through my boating experience and the good times we have had as a family.

This was at the lake Mead Tige owners reunion.

    Be excellent to one another.

I thanked Lake Mead for the wonderful waves and the glass. What did Andrew do to Lake Mead, to get the rock gods mad at him?

In all seriousness, I feel very fortunate to have the experiences I am having with my family and friends.
