    How much was your cover?

There are a hand full of threads going now that talk about boat covers. I'm looking to get one and have had 5 bids between $700 and $1300. All using Sunbrella.

$700 sounds good but I dont want a crappy fit.

What have you guys paid for a good cover? Lets get some posts here with boat length, material used, and price.

Custom Sunbrella with great fit for my 22V. I used a standard color, gry. They wanted another $100.00 for what they call custom colors.
    $900.00...........

When I got my boat I ordered the one straight from Tige. I really like it, wasn't as tight as i would like(lots of slack above the main area where people sit). I always keep excellent car of my stuff and when I got by boat back out of storage from my dealer this winter it was complete ripped up. Holes ripped into the side of it, some huge that I could stick my head through some small that I could stick my finger through. I was VERY unhappy, still am.

My question, does someone know how much a new cover from Tige is?

I have a custom sunbrella cover (black) for my RZ2. Cost was $950. It's good and tight, but it does have a pole in the open bow area and one in the rear seating area. It's been a good cover so far.

I paid around $500 for my sunbrella. I got mine from Ameri-brand Products. To make a long story short, they treated me with great customer service and they get their covers made from one of the two big named boat cover makers on the East Coast. The template they had for my boat was incorrect (2 ft too long), so I was in contact with them and the East Coast fabricators, they made a new template for my boat.

I've only had it a year, but it looks just like new...just a little dirtier.

I dont have a local Tige dealer so I had ordered mine from the Orlando dealer about 3 years ago, I think it was in the $850-$900 range, it came with the Tige logo on it in two places, that might add to the cost,

I got mine off eBay. VS Marine was selling off a bunch of covers, and had the exact Westland cover for my boat, and I picked it up for $99 plus shipping. Has the VS Marine logo on it but hey...for $500 less than retail, who cares? It replaced the original Tigé cover made by Westland that had torn over the swim platform.

I don't know where my dealer got mine but he charged $795 for the Aqualon Bow and Cockpit covers. I use them to travel and to cover the boat when docked at the resorts we go to.

Full mooring covers are better than bow and cockpit covers if the boat is stored outside in the sun. because they cover the top fiberglass they help slow down oxidation. I keep the 20V in garage when not in use. Neighborhood by laws do not allow work truck, RV, trailers or boats to be stored on driveway so in my case a good mooring cover is not needed
