I am an ACME prop dealer so I already have the prop dialed in. I use for 1235 on my boat and it rocks. I use a 381 when I want top speed I get 46 MPH out of it then and when I want a little of both worlds I use a 537. Thanks for the suggestions though. Being that my boat is a 24V the prop lay out is a little diffrent.

In my opinion the best marine engine on the market. I would not mind the new version thought. It is 400HP instead of 375.

I didn't think you bend the tracking fins? The picture on the previous page is a little blury but looks like the fins are bend.

So sad to see your boat like that!

I hope all goes well fix it up!

The picture is blurry, but to me it looks like they pulled them out. Either way I hope you get your boat back soon and better than new.

The fins are all intact and no damage around them at all. The picture is just way way out of focus. All the damage was around the rudder.

Well going to visit on Wednesday to see how things are going. last week they told me they got it all dried out and the glass man was working his majic. So I will see how it goes. Hope it is getting close to done. If not I don't mind as long as it is due to getting the job done right.

Well the boat is DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!. The bad part is I can not pick it up until next Wednesday. I am heading off to Orlando for a business conference tomorrow morning on the first am flight out of LA. Then the service manager will not be there until Wednesday. So I guess I will have to pick it up Wednesday morning early. I will have to find a place to stay Tuesday night for myself and one other person close to there so I am at the facility first thing in the morning. They said they are going to send pictures to me so I can at least see it.

Wow, great to hear it. Now you have to get the boat on the water to perform a test drive.

Did you have the dealer perform a test drive to see if it does okay?

One thing for sure. That is one shiny rudder and prop..

Is the gelcoat whiter where they re-gel'ed? Looks a little light but again, not sure you will notice it while it's in the water.

See red circle below and look at the one you posted.

It also looks like there is blisters or bubbles in that last pic.

I am not sure if that is water and shadows or a color diffrence. I know that my gel guy here in Bako could for sure match it so I hope they matched it. Also I noticed how the back edge of the hull is not strait with the taps but I have to remember angles with photos are always different. G-Money will check it all out for me on Saturday and let me know.

One thing is for sure. It will be right or I won't accept the boat back and issue payment for the work. It cost way too much money not to be right. I am sure that it is though. Pictures never tell the whole story. TWS has a good reputation for there service department.

If I would have done it myself I would have saved about 4K but there is a conflict of interest with the insurance company and my company doing it. The insurance company felt that I was not giving an honest bid for repairs because it was my boat. So that is why it went elsewhere. But because of that man I can tell you it will be right or I am sorry. Colors can be matched and I know that for a fact. My gel coat guy does it all the time every day all day.

That is water. They washed the boat I am sure and they also fill the bilge with water and let it sit for a day or so to make sure no water is getting out and we hope it is the same way the other way no water will get in. It probably ran down when they emptied the bilge. I sure wish they would lake test it to make sure. It is a long trip for me down there. But I know if they don't I will lake test it when I pick it up before heading back up here.

The other thing I will check is to make sure the boat inside is as clean as it was when I took it to them. I am a huge believer in returning it cleaner than when I took it in for service.

So far they have been great at TWS and taken very good care of the boat for me. They have answered every question and worked with me very well. Up to this point I have been very very happy.
