If you are at TWS give me a call you will be 2 min from my house.

I am sure they will take care of you. They left me with that impression when I dropped my boat off. They are very passionate about making the best valued boats on the market.

But hey, mine was there first. lol. What happened to your boat?

He accidentally ran it into some rocks while pulling Nick W. Destroyed the rudder, prop, and gelcoat/fiberglass around the rudder.

I am sure Tige is taking great care of you.

I can relate to his pain. We hit some rocks, ripped of the front tracking fin, bent the other 2 to 90 degrees, destroyed the prop, prop shaft, propshaft strut, and some gel coat damage. Total was almost 6 grand for the fix plus another 2800 for boat recovery, thank goodness for good insurance. Hope your repair goes well.

What is amazing about this is the rock was like 3.5 - 4 feet below the surface. Covered with Moss from what the people that looked at the rock said and completely invisible in the water.

I have hear TWS is a good place to go for the Gel-Coat. I could do all the repairs my self. I have an amazing fiberglass guy here in town but that requires about 3 days worth of work for me. One day to pull the engine, trans, and V-Drive, and all underwater gear. Another day to put all the gear back on after he fixes the boat which will take about 3 weeks and then I have to get the engine aligned and all that fun stuff. So my wife said it. You pay insurance for a reason. Let someone else do the work. You just follow up and make sure it is done correctly and has no problems with the repair.

So from that I chose TWS for the repair. It is about 3 hours closer than the Vegas dealer for me and they have a TIGE factory gel and glass guy that works for them.

I saw the rocks when I was about 10 feet from them, when I first came out to tow you back to shore. I boat in 4-5 feet of water all the time in Mud Lake (part of Utah Lake) and don't hit bottom. When we went back to add the marker, you can see in the picture on of the boys standing on it. Our best theory is that there was a large rock on top of the underwater ridge that you knocked off. We used a mask and tried to see if we could see if that was the case. Nick went down with the mask as well as one of our boys. It was possible, but difficult to tell since visibility wasn't great. The other possibility is that we found a different underwater hazard than what you hit.
