I know nothing about either product. Which is better the Traxx or Sea Deck. I'd love to change mine out.

I don't know many details about the SeaDek, but I think some of the basic differences are:
Traxx (Gator Grip) - comes in a sheet from which you cut your shapes, so the quality of the cut edges depends on how precise you do it; only comes in one basic "pebble" texture/pattern of one or two colors; I think it's less expensive than SeaDek.
SeaDek - I believe they pre-cut the shapes; I think you can get a wide variety of patterns and colors (not sure just how personalized you can make it).

Better is probably a matter of personal preference and your determination of value. Seems that people are happy with either one.

Gator grip is more raised and thicker, stiffer rubber. Whereas the Seadeck is a softer foam thats easy on the knees and is a precut pattern. Seadeck is what is on Malibu platforms and I think Supra as well.

I appreciate it. I'll look into both. Seems like a good winter project. I really don't like the factory pad.

They already have one pre-cut for the RZ2 Just remove the paperbacking and stick to the platform is what I think is all that is needed

How do you get the original rubber matting off the swim step? I need to replace mine as well since it tracks the black onto my boat.

Just peel up a corner and keep pulling. I used Goof Off to then remove the remaining adhesive, followed by a wipe with alcohol to clean any residue. Easy.

That boat is beautiful, love that color combo. Touch is sweet too. I really like the extra ballast in the rear as well for surfing. These boats were good before, but man are they ever taking off now. The styling is cooler, interiors are looking better, technology better and attention to detail.
