Here is a shot at 23.5mph, ballast full, TAPS on 3, with only Mark and myself. BTW did I mention that the boat will top out at 51mph. That's having your cake and eating it too!

We need some pics of one with a rider to give us some perspective.

Does anyone know if the 2010 RZ2 swim platform will fit on a 08 RZ2?

If so I need to purchase one.

Booms, i would say yes but I haven't measured it. The brackets haven't moved from what I can see in the pictures here.

Like DaBell, I believe it will. It's my understanding that the supports are the same and they are located in the same spot on the transom, Tige just narrowed the platform. I thought I remember a couple of 08 owners getting an 09 platform swap out.

DaBell and chpthril thanks for the info. That is what it looked like but I was unsure.
My 08 swim platform has a crack/hole in the back down turn that is closets to the stern of the boat. It is 2-3 inches long and about a 1/4 to 1/2 wide. It is more like a hole. I was cleaning it when I saw it and pushed on it and the hole appeared.
Would like to get a new one if possible but I do not think the warranty covers swim platforms.

And then you woulda missed out on all that riding this summer. I'll take the 100 hours of riding we had

That wave does look great. Nice to have a factory option. Will def be exploring that new platform for next season!

I could be wrong, but I don't think the size/shape of the platform changed from our '09 boats...just the pad material. I simply ripped off the harsh black rubber e' pad and replaced it with Gator Grip/Traxx...huge improvement. Also you could go with SeaDek pad.

I have a Frost(white)in stock that has never been mounted.I bought it w/ an RZ that we did a custom teak platform on. I will sell it to you cheap, way below dealer cost. Call me if you want it. 615-625-3689

Correct, 09 was the 1st year of the narrow platform. Previous years it was the width of the boat. The 09's used the same mat as before, but new, softer mat for 2010.

I assume the improvement is better traction and softer? The factory pad seems to bleed black onto our feet as well.

I suppose you could say that the factory black stuff had OK traction, so I don't know that you could argue that as an improvement (although the Traxx is non-slip, especially when wet). But whereas the factory stuff was hard, harsh (the relief of those e' shapes was painful on the knees), and tracked in that oxidized black mess...the Traxx is soft, comfy, and clean.

The factory stuff simply sucked arse!!!! I would really like to put some SeaDek on it now but want to see how the winter projects turn out this year.
