    Looking to buy a 1998 Pre2002

I wanted to know what the users here onsite have to say about the pre2002. We are going to use it for tubing with kids and the adults will probably do some wakeboarding. This will be my first boat ownership and wanted to know what we should be looking at while viewing the boat. Any pros or cons, any issues with this particular year, any advice would help.
    Thanks,

        Thanks,
My boat is not for sale. 'Cause I love it. I have had zero issues with my 1999 2100i. As we get better at wakeboarding, we are thinking about adding some ballast, but for most everything we do (tubing, wakeboarding, skiing, kneeboarding, ...) it is awesome.

These boats are made for towing and they do it exceptionally well. Take it for a drive and see if you like it. I wouldn't be too afraid of a boat with a lot of hours on the engine - - to me that means most things must be working well because the previous owners used it a bunch.

I bought mine new and still love it. Mostly ski, some wake board, and some wake skate. Good size for a family ski boat. Good power. I ski on on a huge lake and this boat handles very rough water better than other boats its size , yet still has a great wake. Most rought water boats have poor wakes, and most ski boats can't handle even occasional rough water.

Thanks so far for the replies. I am working on the details with the seller.
Are there any issues with this particular year I should look for when I check it out?

I do like the fact that its mentioned that it handles the rough water well.

Just got my 98 pre2100 a few months ago and love it. It does take on water over the bow pretty easy but you learn how to drive to avoid it.. Or do it on purpose to get the people up front wet
