they check us for boaters liceses and booze at the ramp here...can't have any alcohol on the boat unless there is a head..

One other thing on Powell - it is illegal for an alcoholic beverage to be within reach of the driver. My buddy got a $100+ ticket on the last day of our trip last year because my other buddy had set his beer in the drivers side cupholder when the Ranger pulled up (which we were on our way to the friggen boat ramp). He (the driver) hadn't even been drinking and he still got the ticket, ignorance of the law is no excuse.
