    Cali Riders

Just wondering if there is anyone out there from Southern California. Seems like Texas has this thing locked up right now. Need to get some west coastin up in this.

I usually bone out to Lake Perris during this time of year, it's a bit cold still at the river. If anyone wants to link up sometime let me know.

      Joe -

I am a long time Tige' owner (10+ years!) and fan, who goes to Perris, Elsinore and Parker. We will be on the threads from here on out. I just traded up to a new 22v, and I am loving it! When you need an additional rider or boat, let me know!

I'm from Temecula. Do you go to Elsinore? Ever been on Vail lake?

I'm from Murrieta. I just bought a 24 V Riders. I have been trying to find out about Vail Lake and it's membership for months. I understand their is some litagation going on about the ownership or rights to the lake. Is that resolved yet? What is the cost of membership. I am not real crazy about only being able to take my immediate family and not friends and guests.

The litigation is still going on so there is a hold on memberships. You can transfer an existing membership if you find a seller. I know of a couple families that paid around $3k recently. They found in the penny saver. The last round of memberships went for around $6k. There are also monthly dues I believe around $30. Campground, bunkhouse, horses and boat storage included. $100 fine for non-members on the lake but I heard they never check. Fishing is also great.

I have just been going to Lake Perris since I got my Tige about 2 months ago, I'm afraid of what will happen to my skin if I go to Elsinore. I test drove a 22i there on Christmas Eve and the max. depth I saw on finder was 12 feet.....yikes! Plus that lovely bright green glow wasn't very comforting either.

I'm really glad to see there are some folks from Temecula on here, we will have to link up for the River. I'm planning on taking my first trip there 03/26-03/28....probably a bit cold still but it'll be a nice spring break. Let me know if anybody is interested or whatever....the more the better when it comes to Havasu or Parker.

I usually head out to Lake Perris on Sunday's with my buddies so long as the weather is nice.....3:2 suit and I'm fine for three or four sets. Be happy to hook up with some other Tige owners in the area...maybe we can switch back and forth on boats each weekend or something.

I've been to needles a few times, and been as far as the bridge. I'd love to hook up with some of y'all next time I head out there! Probably July or so... yes, I know about the heat. It was 128°F when I went out there last summer!
