when in river and needing to make tight turnarounds, keep eye on rope so you don't snap off wake board rack.

Yep, one thing we learned a long time ago is that if you're not the driver, not the rider, and not the bar tender, your job is to be the rope wench This is a very important position, cause it insures you get to ride next......because if you let the rope go under the boat and get chewed up, days over

Then there are the old Hyperlite Byler boards with the molded in batwing fin that you have to watch out for also.

I have had to drop the rope twice while in the water because of the rope hanging on a board rack. But that was beginning of season. The crew, especially co-captain (), is much improved for watching the rope now.
I also had the rope hang up on the pole of my extended bimini. I dropped off the rope but too late -- the rope bent the bimini pole.

We were on the San Bernard River and I was trying to get a newby boarder up and we were on a section of the river that all of a sudden got crowded and so I kept having to double back and well, the one time we double back and I did not realize I had the rope caught in the wakeboard rack and when I went to pull, SNAP!! The bolts shearded off, just scared the crap out of us. Just need two new bolts and back in it goes. Hence the note to self, to alway's check the rope when having to double back on crowded rivers.. Lesson learned.

Yep, almost happened to me last time out. Had newbies on the boat and thought the kids would say something nope thank goodness the new person in the water let go of the rope and had sense to see what was going on. I also have the same problem with the snaps for my snap down cover.www.automarinecare.com CWB, ACME, FlyHigh, Merc Marine, PCM, Marine-power, WETSOUNDS, HSE Volume Controls, Kicker, Sony, Samson Sports, and many other marine parts or accessory's.

Worse yet........running over an abandoned crap trap rope thats floating 6" below the surface. The rope gets caught, then you feel slight vibration, then you hear a big bang (crap trap hits bottom of boat)
Must have Knife, goggles and spare rope on board.
