The LED lights are great for visibility by others and were standard on the trailer I bought.
I have noticed the rubber grommets work loose periodically with all the trailering we do so I used rubber cement on the rubber grommets at the short curve. So far so good. They are not working themselves loose since I did this to the big oval lights.the smaller lights I left alone.
The only lights that are not required and a bit of a waste are the ones on the cross member behind the prop and running gear.
I had to order the backup lights as an option when I bought the trailer. They have same oval mount hole and gasket as the red led light with same oval opening. They don't help that much when backing up except it does show that your backing up which helps with safety.
It is doubtful but if I ever sell my 20V for another boat, I would go LED all the way.
