I have had some good water lately...

But today was not one of those days. Had to be to work by 10:00 or so. The air was in the low 60's. The water was still warm, but wind was blowing about 25 MPH out of the northeast. There was doable water up close to shore on that end of the lake.

It still be at a good morning at work, but you can kind of tell the wind blowing spray off the top of the wake here.

I guess I would not appreciate the good days without the bad.

I can't wait for the Lake Mead reunion, hopefully we get none of that wind stuff!

You've been spoiled. You need some good Saturday action to bring you back to earth.

LMAO. Some good Saturday action, that ain't no lie.

We have been lucky here with all the lakes being so low in TX, we found a lake that no one was using and had good water for about 5 weeks. They just closed that lake too 3 weeks back.

Your first pic looks like a great day on my local lake and the next pic is what I dream about (and had for 4 days straight on Powell last year).

I think the first pic does not look as bad as it really was, but like I said, it was doable. I have had days where we just loaded up and went home. But maybe it does not look so bad because I had gotten used to the water in the second pic.

The water temp is down to 47 degrees, but I got some good water again.

                Lucky.

Water here is still 66-68, and I am still trunking it. But my lake has had a fishing tournament the last 4 weekends. Nothing like a bunch of crazy fishermen zooming around at 50MPH hitting our wake. Seriously these guys think they are in NASCAR or something.

It's fun to see their reaction when they hit our surf wake

Literally watched a guy and his wife haulin around the lake and hit our wakeboarding wake at probably 45-50 mph and the boat went airborne and when it landed it rocked so hard the middle piece of the windshield shattered and the guys wife fell out of her seat (I bet she was not very happy with him!!!)
