    Got It

My wife and I got out yesterday on the boat for possibly the last day of the season. I was getting my board on and my wife handed my vest to me noticing some damage to it.
I was eecking to get in the water and did not pay much attention to it. A few seconds later she says, "There must be a mouse in the boat".
There was a roll of paper towels under the passenger compartment that had been mildly ripped up. After I rode I looked through the boat but could not find the little $hit.
I set a trap last night and placed it where the paper towels were torn up. This morning this is what I found.

Good timing! That could have been disastrous over the winter!

I am trying to envision how a mouse could get into my boat.

He would have to be able to jump from the winch to the boat after climbing the wheel onto the frame and then jumping up to the winch. Otherwise, my boat is pretty slippery all the way around.

Glad you found him and he paid the ultimate price for messin' with your stuff.

Carter, nice work! Do you store the boat outdoors?

Put his head on a post in your boat...let him serve as an example to all other mice who may dare to enter your boat! That thing broke his face in 2. hahaha

Is that peanut butter? Crap...I would have been dead too! Me loves me some peanut butter!

Seriously...good catch. We had some mice in the house...ate up our sleeping bags. Got them all with traps baited with peanut butter.

Peanut Butter is da'bomb when it comes to catching mice or rats. I guess the mice/rats aren't into cheese anymore

Tom and Jerry cartoons need to be edited to replace cheese with peanut butter.

                              fleet,
I always keep the boat in the garage but I had an extension cord plugged into the battery charger under the passengers seat running out to the outlet on the wall. I think that is how it got into the boat. I live on 5+ acres and there are lots of mice although our cats do a good job of killing them off.

                              Guapo,
That is peanut butter and it is definately what to use for catching mice.

                              Jason,
It did break his face in two. What the photo doesn't show is that one eye is bulging out and the other exploded.

My wife said it was retarded posting the picture and what happened. It is obviously a guy thing.
