Long ride yesterday.

I went out just me and the pups yesterday and took a long ride. It was a ride that I have wanted to do for quite a while. Down the I.C.W. and up into the Northwest River up to a state park. The weather was great and good company too, the dogs never complain if it gets too rough, so off we went. It was a great ride. Approx 3.5 hr round trip cruising at about 22mph. I have also included some things we've seen in this area, these pics taken a couple of weeks ago in the Munden area on the map, wow what a sight!!!!!!!! How far did the dolphins come to you? When I was living in Hawaii, the boat that we rode on, they use to come close enough to be comfortable but loved playing in the wakes of the boat. The boat was only a 28 foot boat that we used for diving but it was definitely fun watching them play around.

The closest they got to us or we got to them was about 12' to 15' away, close enough for a wonderful encounter. There were about 4 different pods, I estimated that there probably was about 30 dolphins total. "It was great."

there is a little dinner cruise down in San Carlos Mexico that goes out at sunset and when you go back in the bay there is usually a pack of dolphibs (12-15 dolphins) that love to just ride right under the bow of the boat. every once in a while you can catch a picture of them jumping and flipping. Very neat animals.
