Anybody have any ideas or prototypes for a mirror that does not mount to the windshield? I am thinking about getting by CNC bud to custom design.

Samson makes one for the Malibu Illusion, not sure if it fits the Tige though, but give them a call.

I contacted Samson about the mirror mount, as I would be interested as well. Quick response...nice folks. Here is what they said:
"We have tried a few prototype mirrors with little success. The mirror arm
has to be very long to put the mirror head in the correct position. This
allowed too much vibration. I have not given up and will be doing some more
prototypes this winter.
We do have some new speakers that are designed for the Alpha tower. They
use our patented quick release/rotating wireless mount. They are a
compression horn driven speaker that is incredibly loud.
We also have some spinning boardracks for the Alpha tower that are available
in a wake wake/wake, wake/surf and a surf/surf.
Let me know if you need more info on any of the other Tige/Alpha products. "Comment
