    OE is always a good choice. I have found that CARQUEST Gold is a very very good pad though. It is important to run what OE calls for. If they call for Ceramic run ceramic, If they call for Metalic run metalic, and if they call for organic run organic. If you run a metalic base pad and the brake system is not designed for it chanced are you will get a small to sever brake noise. CARQUEST/Raybestos formulas are very close to OE. I have never had any issues with noise and I have certainly had much better wear and less brake dust on the wheels of the car with them. It is always a good policy to bleed your brake system also when replacing pads with new fluid.

    I do not turn your rotors IMPO it is not worth it. For every .010 turned of the rotor the ability to remove heat is reduced significantly.
