I talked to the guys down there a few weeks ago. They are not selling the Monterey Boat line anymore and have sold all of their 09 Tiges. There were a few Tiges in the showroom. But they sent all of their Montereys back.

They said the 2010 Tiges are on the way.

But yeah it was scary to see a completely empty lot. I had to stop in and get the scoop.

BTW they were closed for the Labor Day Holiday.

I've sent them several customers that are sending me PM's thanking me for the hook up and they did biz there just this week.

Rumors are flying they had a dispute over their flooring financing, Ebbtide Issues, Monterey issues,,, and that they closed and will re-open with 2010 models in a smaller location, with far less dealer stock.

Like I said though, rumors.

I drove by last week as well & saw the completely empty lot.

I don't know why they would be moving to a smaller location. I was told by Chris (owner) when I bought my boat that TWS owns the building & has very minimal overhead.

I guess if you could rent out the building you own & lease a smaller one for less money it would make sense. But the hard part would be finding a qualified renter in this day & age. There are so many vacant industrial buildings in the area its crazy.
