Sounds good--ain't gonna happen though, I'm fighting TOOTH AND NAIL to just keep this one. Divorce is expensive...... The only thing saving my boat at this point is that for our 10yr anniversary she bought herself a 4.5 carat diamond solitaire that is worth significantly more than the boat (even a NEW boat). That ring is turning out to be the best purchase for me that she ever made.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I normally stay away on big week ends, but when the right opportunity presents it self you have to go. On Tuesday of last week I got an invite to go to Lake Powell for the week end. I was slammed with work and my daughter and wife were both scheduled to work, then my friend at work sent me a pic of the boat we would be on and we were all in. We left late Friday and made the 7 hour drive and spent the night in Page, then on the Lake Saturday and stayed til Monday morning and then the long haul back home and now I am sitting at work wishing we could have stayed longer. I only have a couple of pics from my camera, but for this thread I'll post a few. I will start another thread tomorrow on the whole story of how this all came together and more pics from my family camera. I'll just say it was an awesome week end and thanks go out to some of the greatest people I have spent time with.

This is the little Tige 24V looking small

This is a friend of the boat owner coming in for a visit

This is my niece, my wife, me and my daughter posing as we were getting ready to leave.

I hope a picture does say a thousand words, because I don't know if I can describe how great it was.
My dad always said "Stupid Hurts". He's yet to be proven wrong, but for some reason I keep trying.

Holy crap...I'll say you had a good weekend. I need friends like that.

SpecialK, and everyone else who had difficulties hope you get out there soon and have a few days out on the water to help forget about this last weekend.

My weekend was spend a bit differently...we were out on a little lake, with a little sail boat, not too many people, and some good wind . We had a blast, only turtled it once.

Folsom was actually decent Sat and Sunday. Not too crowded since everyone thinks its closed and it was only 86 outside.

After hoping and wishing that a drunk idiot would fall off his boat trying to jump to the dock...guess what...a guy jumped from his boat, foot slipped, smashed his chest square on the dock and splashed into the water. After spending a good two minutes just holding onto the dock, his buddy pulled him out of the water. Then took a couple seconds to bend over and just get his breath back. My brother and me were giggling like little school girls the entire time. We were a good 100 yards from the dock and could still hear the thud.

No a friend of Jeremy's. They were there with a group of 150 YSA kids filming some insane wake boarding. It was great to watch, BUT everywhere they went there were several boats and that chopper flying 50 feet above them. Kind of distracting, but cool.

Forgot to ask you about your anchoring methods on your Tige in that pic. I haven't seen the method before. How does it hold up in a storm?

didn't hit the lake, opted for a weekend of college football instead. the rednecks really go all out (in a bad way) on the summer holidays around here, not worth getting mixed up on the water
