    2 Months and still waiting

I have been waiting 2 months for Tige to ship my dealer a Warranty replacement throtle shift assembly to hopefully fix the problem that brought up in this post back in April.
    http://tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9530
Our dealer ordered the replacement part the first week of July after I dropped off the boat. A month later I picked up the boat (still un repaired) for weekend trip. During that trip I had to be towed in due to no throtle.
Here we are another month later on Labor day weekend and I am sitting here typuing this instead of out on the lake.

Is anyone else having trouble getting parts out of Tige?
If anyone has any suggestions on who I should contact at Tige I would appreciate it.

I can't tell you how frustrating this is.

Yes I am and it stinks. ...since June. I would like the same contact info. (I've tried working it thru my service/dealer, and he is fed up)

Send a PM to Harvey on this forum .

You can also PM Charlie Pigion and his son with this issue.

First thing I would do is sit down with the Service Manager and his boss/dealer principle/owner and get names of who they have talked to at Tige, the dates, and what they were told. Next, with these to people there, have them call Lee at Tige who is the parts manager and get him on speaker phone and get an ETA. If, at that point, you are not happy with that answer, then have Lee transfer you over to Harvey. I'll bet, some where through this process, the whole story changes from what you have been told.

It's kinda odd, Tige has a whole lot of great dealers out there, and you never see these kinds of postings from their customers. Even though they sell the same Tiges, built a the same plant, and buy the same parts from the same Tige parts counter. Anyone want to wager why? Just something to think about.

Took three months to get a bow cushion. Glad it was not holding me up from boating. I wonder if you dealer can give you a "loaner", let's say the 2010 RZ4 why you wait on the part.
The worst day of boating is still the better than the best day of work......, unless you bend your prop.

As far as anything to do with interior it takes awhile all this stuff is made when ordered its not just sitting around.
As for the throttle issue I think your dealer is dropping the ball IMPO. We get stuff like this from Tige all the time with VERY FEW issues.

I have a business outing scheduled for 5 of my top customers in 2 weeks on Lake Mead. I am in the process of linning up a rental boat for the event.
What do you think the odds of Tige picking up the cost of the rental are????

I flat out love my Tige but hate not beig able to use it because they can't support it. If they don't want to cover the warranty, I would be happy to pay for the part. Ijust want to use my boat.

ZERO Talk with your dealer, they might provide you a loaner but not entirely sure. Hope Tige steps up and see this thread.

Correct. It seems like a such a simple item. Working on principle now.

Good suggestion. I will try this in the next couple of weeks or so and report back....

Phone number for Lee at Tige?

'Next couple of weeks'....Ummm... How about tomorrow? Your patience on this has left you treated poorly, IMHO, because I would have blown a gasket by now. You shouldn't have to be a squeaky wheel to get some grease, but I would put more effort into it. I would start shooting a few emails, text messages, whatever.

If sitting down with the dealer is something your schedule can't allow, then do it via email or on the phone.
                          Be excellent to one another.

The root of the problem is not your dealer or Tige. The problem is with the vendors not being able to keep up with the demand of the amount of parts requested from the manufactures. I to have experienced delays for parts and cant understand why the vendors do not bring back the laid off workers and get the parts built while they have a demand. I would be surprised if your dealer is not doing all they can, but I am convinced that Tige is. Is your throttle assembly dead or could it possibly be re calibrated? Have your Dealer call us if you think we may be of some help. We too have had throttle assembly problems that we have had to work thru with no parts available.
