First time to be a Grandpa

It was just over 5 years ago while I was shopping for a new boat that my (soon to be) Tige dealer told me to look at Tigeowners.com to get some information about the boats. As I was browsing I noticed a user who was from my small town, St. George, Utah. I decided to send him a PM inviting him to call me so that I could get some information about Tige. He called me and answered all of my questions, and was very instrumental in my purchase of my Tige 21i.

That person was Talltigeguy. In the five years since, he has become a very good friend as well as our family's Doctor.

Now five years later, he delivers our first granddaughter. So even though this thread is titled about being a Grandpa, it is really suppose to be a tribute to a great friend and Doctor.

If you have met, Talltigeguy in person, consider yourself priviledged. If you haven't yet but ever have that opportunity, be sure to do so. First of all, he really is tall, but most of all he is a fine man.

So that being said, here are a couple of pics from 10 days ago, August 21, 2009 when our first Granddaughter was born.

    A great friend and Dr.

This picture is growing on me more each day. If you saw my wakesurfing pics from our Lake Powell trip, you might recognize the Mom

Congratulations!! It looks like she's trying to make the Victory sign with her right hand in that fist picture.

          Definately a trojan baby

BTW, gameday is only 5 days away. I'm there.

Another wedding is keeping me from this game, but starting with Washington St, I'll be there too. (Would be at Mead with everybody but another darn wedding that Sunday)

So how old does she have to be before mom lets her come to a game?

That will be a while, too many people in line in front of her. Only six home games a year, she is the 11th person in the family. She will have to prove her loyalty to qualify.

Congratulation G-Pa and Tall. Baby and Mom look great.

                Good job boys!

She should be eligible for a free entry ticket right now.

Congrats. I am sure you will find more joy in that than any Trojan game or wakesurf run behind your boat. I can not agree with you more that TallTigeGuy is a very fine man and I am certain a great doctor.

Apparently if you want a girl, Larry's your man . It's funny, I know 4 people having babies this year and they're all girls. Congratulations to you and your entire family.

Not that unusual...slmost everyone who gives birth is female.
