2009 Lake Mead Tige Owner's Reunion T-Shirts

I want to start off by thanking everyone for their help on the T-Shirts for this year's Lake Mead Reunion. I have been working on the design and need a few things before I can finalize everything.

#1 - Color: Black or White are the best colors for this type of shirt due to the printing process. The white with black printing is less expensive as it only consits of 2 layers of screens. The black shirts with white printing is slightly more and may be too hot to actually wear in the summer. Either way, we need to decide on a shirt color so speak up.

#2 - Design: The design is preliminary and easy to change, but I need suggestions. One suggestion I had was to change the lettering to read "2009 Lake Mead Tige Owner's Reunion." I will also change the lettering to be the same size and space it more symeterically. Please let me know what you think and if you would like to suggest any changes. The design will need to be final by Fri, so don't wait until last minute to add your comments.

#3 - Sponsors: The back will have a list of sponsors to include The Boat Shop, Wet Sounds, CWB, Pro-line, ACME and a few others. Please add to the list so we don't miss anyone.

#4 - Quantity: Last but not least, I need to know how many shirts will be ordered to lock in pricing. There will be adult and children sizes in long and short sleeve. Please post your order on this thread and I will update the order about every other day to keep on top of the list.

I think it's looking great, John! I like working the prop logo in throughout - nice touch. Don't forget the ' above the Tige name.

Regarding color - I prefer white or light gray, but open to whatever. Well, maybe not hot pink, but mostly whatever. I'm sure I'll be in for about 5 or so. Will there be the option for non-cotton fabric, like the tech shirts last year?

I prefer white personally. The light gray often attracts the heat too much for me. Maybe if it was light enough, it wouldn't but that is the only issue I would have with it.

Wish I could chip in on the give-a-ways, but just cant do it this year unless someone wants tow their boat this way, then I'll donate the labor for an install

Sponsors for this year

Guy's, This year I will be giving away a few boat care kits from Babe's Boats. Some CWB products. I am not sure what CWB will be giving away yet but I am sure it will be something someone can use. I have confirmed with TIGE that Nick Weinacker will be there as well as with Nick himself.

If you are needing to restock your boat Bright this is the time to do it. I will be bringing only Boat Bright this year. Last year it was to much to keep straight all the other products. The price on this product is going up year after year in huge price jumps. It was $30.00 plus at the start of the year and it now has dropped back down to $28.00 per gallon. If you want that PM me so we can get that ordered and I can bring it with me so we do not have to pay freight fees.

I am working on a few other things for give aways and don't want to say what they are until I have them confirmed.

I think the color will be white. I spoke to the printing company and the light grey, even super light grey, will lessen the quality of the boat picutres. I will make sure the ' goes properly above Tige and check on the non-cotton shirts.

Side note, next year we should start the design much earlier to allow for more options and proper time for everyones review and comments.

Here are the new designs including a few sponsors. I will borrow some additional images from websites tonight to add to the sponsor list. I'm not sure if the tige brand logo looks right in the text, or if it should be standard text like the rest of the lettering. Comments?

So far, I only have a few who have confirmed they want shirts. The price goes down as the quantity goes up. For example, if we order a total of 50 short sleeve shirts, the price might end up being $10 versus $12 if we order 20 shirts. Not a big deal, but I'm trying to lock in prices and without a better count, I am unable to estimate the quantity. I checked on the sport-tech type shirts and they are available, but will be double the cost of the regular shirts, probably around $20 for an adult size. I need to release the print company on the 9th to have the shirts on the 24th, so think about it this weekend. Thanks!
