When you have a little extra time on your hands...

    Then you can do this!

A thorough polishing of the rudder and prop.

This is on the bottom of a 10 or so year old boat. Don't know what it will look like after 2 or 3 uses, but it sure looks cool right now.

This should help the handling of the boat.

I have heard this is not a good thing to do plus to get the prop to look like that I am sure it will have some sort of VIBRATION. Especially if it is a ACME. Those are balanced to a S Class which is very tight balance tolerance. He just removed a ton of Metal to get that shine.

Funny thing is, that the boat is a fixer upper. It has not yet been in the water with the new owner. He is still fixing everything...then somehow got sidetracked with this project.

The engine still does not run, IIRC.

I bet he finds out he has s vibration when he gets it running.

I bet he got the idea from the guy on TMC owners that has a old S&S that he takes to boat shows that that is all polished up like that.

            Looks cool tho..

He is starting to get eaten alive now that it is coming out that he bought the boat without running it. He did start it up for a minute in the driveway and heard a big clang clang when he put it in gear. Uh oh.
