Pondering the 22Ve

In about 4 months I will be in the market for a new boat. Specifically looking for a V-Drive and have a few options right now on what we want to get.

My question is what kind of price range am I looking at for a new Tige 22Ve. Options would include, but not limited to, Alpha Z tower w/racks, TAPS, largest ballast system offered, dual batteries, tandem trailer with swing away tongue. Those are the biggies I can think of right now.

Edit: Oh I am near Tampa Florida and yes I have already been over to visit Dom at FIC, but that was almost a month ago and forgot what he was telling me on price.

Well, if you are wanting the largest factory ballast offered, then you will want the 2010 model that is just being released. They have upped the available ballast from 900 lbs up to 2000 lbs. Because they are just now coming out, you will almost certainly have to talk with Dom to get a price idea.

Or, you could go with an older model and install additional ballast yourself. Sorry, I'm no help on a price.

Best all around boat in the Tige lineup IMO. Go with the factory installed stereo and transom remote, there's nothing better then Wet Sounds Bimini, fiberglass swim step, 343hp,

Price: Too many variables. You could be looking at a new 08, or 09, or waiting on a 2010. Different markets bring different prices. Just need to get back with Dom.

I'd talk w/Dom @ fic. It is going to depend if you are going new new 010 which has alot of new stuff. def go w/the wetsounds setup and a bimini.
Dom is a great guy he and his mechanic kevin took me boarding when I was there for work. You just don't find that everywhere you go.

i Bought the 09 22Ve and in my opinion is the best boat offered by tige for me, if your wanting the wakeboarding then it is the best because it will have the same ballast as the 24's but will not have as much natural bouyancy since it is shorter. This was probably the leading factor in my decision to buy this one.

So find one you like and go with it, i really couldnt help on the price much but mine is fully loaded and i love every feature on it!! Go big or go home!!!

Your definetly lucky to have Dom. Really one of the best guys ever and really the BEST service guy in the state of Florida NO one knows more than he does and I have been to them all from Ocala, Tampa, Orlando. He will give you the straight up skinny on everything and make sure your taken care of. 2000 pounds of ballast damn that makes me excited glad to see Tige putting a bit more emphasis on ballast especially on big boats. Wish I could get to the expo.
