I agree Ragboy the new Flex grahics on the bow make the boat look shorter in photos,I think they look better in person.It is hard to beat the classic grahics in my opinion,we had a black/white/black 22ve at the boat show last year with the new Alpha tower that everyone loved, but we are old farts.I do like these new Ve grahics,I'm wondering how they would look on a solid main panel boat.

As for the touch screen - it is only the actual interface (what you see and touch) that is exposed as far as I can see. The brain is out of the elements - but perhaps I am missing something.

The 09/2010 windshields are shorter then the previous Ve/RZ windshields that were introduced in 06 on the Ve. I believe this is due to the Alpha Z tower mount.

As far as the touch screen goes, its just progress and it is the way things will go for some time. I understand the issue against, but think of this. What if in the future these touch screens were not stagnant? You know like you can download apps for your iphone? Imagine a USB port where you took a thumbdrive from your home computer and loaded up stuff onto your boat. Like GPS maps of lakes or updated maps of hidden spots, who knows what. The thing with touch screens, is like the iphone, the user interface is anything you want it to be. It can be updated and made better with software. Think of the cool iPod control that could be done on the screen, like on my clarion in my car. Even play videos on the screen from your ipod/iphone. You know, like my podcast. Had to mention that. Its just progress.

You don't have to wait for the future. That is how it's already set up. There are different downloads or updates that the dealers can instal with a flash drive. There are even going to be some instrucrional videos you can download for people that are just learning. There are so many things this can do and it's only going to get better.
