My bet is that the screens are just that, a touch monitor while the computer is under something and won't get wet easily. So if the screen goes out, you just purchase one from Tige and replace the screen, not the computer.

But, if Tige did it correctly, the screen should have been an everyday product on today's market with a few enhancements to accommodate for water

      Expo

Thanks Dingleberry,I had to watch it a couple of times to figure out it was the RZ with my rep Mark Gibbs sitting in the back.Notice how empty the isles are.I heard they downsized it to the smaller hall from years past.I wished I would have gone this year since the show has less traffic and easier to move around.

I am interested in seeing what the helm guages look like. Seems to appear that they still have some LCD's in there also. They would display all the information about the boat still.

If so, could the new TigeTouch be an option?

          what's under the backseat?

is that how you get to the gas tank/under the floor?

Looks like Tige removed the access door from the top of the back seat to the wall. Never really liked that arched cushion anyways.

Now if we have huge bow rollers coming in, now we can open the door and let the water run straight into the engine compartment. That's better than a drain.

It looks like to me Tige did it right with the screen/computer thing. Made it small and more like a side device. As apposed to right in your face sticking up on the dash.

Here's the whole (well.... more or less)... nothing new. Just interior and possibly the gel-coat fade.

Would that be the press relief that came out a few days ago?

Well getting into the Surf Expo was a complete FAIL! I did not realize that this was an industry or retailer event ONLY. After getting turned away at the door, we approached a few people going in who had badges and asked if they could get us in as a guest. Almost had one group ready to take us in with a $50 tip, but their boss walked up at the last minute and told us sorry no can do...

Sorry no pics of the new Tige to share.

I just got back from surf expo. I must say Tige has set the bar higher than i could have ever dreamed. This 2010 Tige is awsome. The dash layout and touch screen is insane nothing else even comes close. Part of the 2k ballast option folds and tucks out of the way when not in use. I just cant begin to tell you the WOW factor that i had today. Big props to Charlie for pushing so hard to make Tige even better than ever.

                              Personal Opinions from today.
                              1. Tige has the bar set high. ALL others are playing catch up.
                              2. Axis A22 grew on me. Entry level boat with some neat features. I went there not really expecting much from it and turned out I kind of like it. It is different and not for everybody.
                              3. CC new 200 was not all that impressive. Some neat storage lockers. But overall felt small cramped. Their dash does have gps wich looked good but the rest of the screen was busy with very small icons for every thing wich were hard to read/find.
                              4. Centurion- I must confess I was not a big centurion fan before I went. Friend has an 05 Avy. I go out on and service and I just dont like anything about it. I left expo the same way no centurion for me thanks. They had an enzo 230 DUB edition. Besides a kicken stereo and some TV monitors I was not at all impressed. the one plus for this centurion it had a PCM instead of the Mercruiser.
5.Supra- Boat looked nice from the outside but they really didnt let you get in the boat and check it out. They are not real popular in my neck of the woods so i will reserve any further comment as I didnt really get to check it out like I would have liked.
6.MasterCraft- They had a 2010 X-2. Besides the new tripple trim tab setup wich is new and would be interesting to see how it works. this boat had to be the biggest disapointment at the show. The new dash pannels are the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. For a 20ft boat at a price of $70k I would say MC took 2 steps back for sure.
                              7. Mailibu- The new tower is not as bad as every body makes it out to be. Overall didnt see a bunch of major changes besides the tower. The one thing I did see from the Malibu I didnt like was the snap out carpet. It looked/felt cheap/cheesy.
8.Wetsounds- They did not have a booth but Tim was there. Talked with him (got an education on amps info overload for sure) went over some new stuff/changes in some of the speakers. More mid/hig/bass pro 80/60 hell I dont know. This guy covered so much info he fried my brain. Seriously though Tim is willing to step up and take care of us wich makes it easier on us as dealers to take care of our customers and thats what we love about Wetsounds +++ His Stuff
First 3 pics are of the part of the ballast system that folds up when not in use. I really like this setup.
Fourth pics is the Surf/wake rack-Holds 1 surfboard and 1 wakeboard. Nice finish and nice function.

that hatch provides access to the trans dipstick and sea strainer. In a pic I posted you can see where the whole floor section hinges and allows access to the gass tank and everything else under the floor.
