I didn't like it at first but it is growing on me. Ireally like the way the racks pull off.

I'm with you on this tower turbonine. That video was definitely better than the thread that was originally started on WW. Personally, I think Malibu did a great job on the tower even though there was a few ruffles in the water awhile ago over it.

Then there is the question about the tower on the boat fitting into a standard 7 foot garage opening now.

I like where their head is at. Instead of adding a bunch of stuff to increase the price they refined what they already have. Smart IMO.

Man BU screwed up on this one. Go spend the money in the US, instead of going to China. Hire XTP to pull out the old illusion design they bought from Metcraft and re-make that sucker. The last two attempts they've made at changing the tower have been horrible (XS and now this). Stick w/ what works (the old illusion).

what keeps the tower from just falling forward? just the shocks?? what if one whent bad? i dont mean to knock it but that design looks like its bowned to rattle and shake like a mofo

That tower is terrible. Cool that it folds down nicely like that but it's ugly!

i just meant that the hinges look like they would rattle if there wasnt a pin or something holding the top piece to the bottom

I'm usually not to into the arch towers but that one ain't bad. As soon as I see one in person I'll form my own opinion on the how it might perform. I actually like the design of it.

I'd be real surprised if it didn't have a lock for the deployed position.

The tower doesn't, but the gunwale sure does flex alot.

If they would use a monocoque constructed hull, like Tige, Mastercraft, and now Axis. Those boats would be hard to pass up. Great wake, and they look good (minus the new tower).
