Looking at 24VE

Ok, I have found a Tige 24VE with 167 hrs. It is not too far from me and the guy wants 28K for it. Here are some pics. What do you guys think and is it a good deal?

Looks like an 04 or 05, it's deffinetely a "V" not a Ve. 28k seems a little high, but hard to say without knowing year.

I am guessing 04. My 05 vinyl was not so boxy like that.

The gay tower definitely pulls several grand away from the price. I think he is asking too much.

Why is the tower so far back? Is the tower on the 24VE that far back too?

That is an 04 24V w/ a wake designs rival epic tower. I have less than stellar things to say about their towers.

Yes this is a 2004. The guy says it is a 24Ve riders edition. I am looking to upgrade from a 2000 21i Riders Ed. I want something that sits higher in the water, more seating, and definitely a v-drive this time.

Its an 04 24 V with a newer graphic on it. I dont really like the funky tower personaly but if you dig it thats all that counts. Pay close attention to the seems in the interior. It was a problem area for that year and at that price they need to be perfect IMPO.What motor Marine Power Mercruiser or PCM? What size motor?

Come-on guys!!! We all know that Bu copied us on the tower shape/style. Just look at that tower.

On a 24Ve, the tower does not sit that far back nor is it close to being that far back.

We have a winner. Not a bad tower, it's just backwards. Haggle him on the price then just spin that tower around, patch up the old rear holes and biggity bam, nice 24 V.
