My boat let me down monday night, we got done surfing and emptied out the fat sack to go skiing. My buddy got in the water and was all ready to go and the boat would not start, acted like the battery was dead. Another friend pulled up with his boat to give us a jump start but it would not do anything. (realized i was trying to jump the accesories battery) so we got pulled to the dock and took the boat off the lake and brought it to my shop, put a battery charger on the starter battery and fired right up. The starter battery was dead and the accesories battery was charged so this leads me to think it is a bad isolater not letting the charge get to the one battery, has anyone ever had this problem, i talked to harvey at tige and he said they have not seen many isolaters go bad but it has happened, what do you guys think, i am going to test the chargind system tonight and already had the batterys both checked.

Easy to test with a DVOM if it has a diode test setting on it, or just hook the + of the battery charger to the center post of the Iso and turn on the charger. Should have voltage on both end posts of the Iso. Or, just put on the fake-a-lake and fire it up. Check for Alt out put at the center and end posts of the Iso, this way you test the alt and Iso at the same time.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
