So between work, riding, cleaning the boat after riding, and not having internet at the new house I don't get to get on here often. But when I got my 2001 x-star, some requested wake pics. I finally got the wife to snap some pic this weekend. I only got one good one because she was also running the video camera.

Anywho, boat is wieghted as follows: stock tanks in rear (250lb in each locker,)not running the stock tank in ski locker, 750lb fat sack in the bow. Three adults and and 2 kids, rider is at 70', speed is 23.2mph on perfect pass. I usually have more people in the the boat so 23.2 is what I run and usually ride at 75'.

- so your 01 xstar became the x2 which is now the x1 so any of the three having that hull should give a sweet wake w/your weight set-up.
- do you surf or have you set it up for that?

I haven't tried to surf it yet. I want to badly but a surf board isn't in the budget yet. THe goal is to replace the 2 250lb tanks in the rear with the 750lb bags, keep the stock 300lb bag in the ski locker and run the integrated bow sac in the nose. If I have too maybe another 250-500lbs in the walk way. But yes, the 2000-2002 X-star became the X-2 in 03 and the X-1 in 06? or 05? Either way, same exact hull. I road with a guy that had the exact same boat running the all the stock ballast, plus a 750 half filled in each locker, the bow sac and another 750 half full in the walk way. The funnest wake I have ever ridden. I will get pics next time I go out with him. THe wake is usually not SO rampy when I have a few more in the boat.
