Proposed cable park in San Diego

    Is the water safe?

Yes. The water in Lake One will most likely be fed with the park’s well which produces more than enough water to support the lake. The other option is to use the water that is currently in Lake One which comes directly out of Padre Dam’s Water Recycling Plant in Sycamore Canyon. The water is treated to “Title 22” standards, meaning it meets all health, safety and biological requirements for recreational use with full body contact and accidental ingestion. We perform weekly laboratory testing for water quality.

Why the heck wouldn't they just ship the water in from halfway across he country, like the rest of california?

              That is classic.
I grew up in El Cajon which is about seven miles from Santee and I can tell you both cities suck arse. I will be suprised if this goes through.
I just got back riding in the slough three miles from my house and would not trade for anything.
There were no other boats and it was butter until 2 pm.
              Sorry to rub it in.

                      David,
Your reply is awesome. You must have really liked to shop in mission valley.
I moved up here 15 years ago and don't regret it one bit.
Krunchy I feel for you bro living in Poway. Nothing great about that place.
I'll post some pics tomorrow of the glassy slough.

No, it usually got way too hot out that direction. Ocean Beach was the life for me.. However, not the best place to be either if you didn't know people. But again, maybe I should have said I don't go further east than I-15 and I-8.

I moved out of San Diego 8 years ago and I am glad I did. I had a great job there but a much better one up here. However, it's mother f'ing hot up here at times.

I don't think Sac town gets any hotter than El Cajon.
You were just used to the cool ocean breezes.

                              Very true.
We have the gloom about eight months out of the year here.
