I have been looking around for used wakeboard boats and I came across this 2003 22v Limited for sale for 29900. It has 200 hours on it and seems very clean. I feel like 30k is a bit high for a 6 year old boat even though it has low hours. In your experience with Tige's is this priced to high or is it right?

Have you looked into NADA values for the boat. I agree, seems a little high since there are boats that are 2007's going for $32k. There are a ton of boats on the repo lots that are newer.
On the flip side, the boat is very solid and will ride very well. 200 hours on that boat is nothing as you said.
This one is a 2005 22v going for $36k... http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7286 Might be available still.Last edited by da.bell; 07-22-2009, 03:47 AM.

Seems high to me. I spent a lot of time and energy looking for boats a year ago, and even with the low hours that is definitely still higher than the prices I found for newer Tiges last year. Don't forget to take into account whether or not it has been in salt water. I would pay way less for a 2003 200hr salt water boat than I would for a little older fresh water only boat with a few more hours on her.

If you like the boat and it seems mechanically sound, make them an offer. Since it's a sale, not an auction, perspective buyers will offer less then the opening price, not more I'll bet the seller is expecting some negotiation.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I don't know where you are looking but you may want to check out this site. It searches all the craigslist sites for what you want. I found my 2003, 20v on it for $20k

I sold my '04 22V for $30k recently. It had about 320 hours, was well taken care of and had lots of options and little extras. It went very fast to a close friend, but I feel the price was about right- I might have gotten a little more if I wanted to wait and deal with all the lookers and hagglers. Several dealers said that was the right price. I would look a little more. Tige took out the wood when they came out with the '04 models- actually some of the late '03 models didn't have wood. Also they went to the Marine Power engines in '04.

I went and looked at the boat today and it is very clean inside, just about brand new. From what i'm hearing I think I am going to offer him 25 or no deal. Being from the northeast wakeboard boats aren't as plentiful as elsewhere and I don't feel that comfortable buying a boat over the internet.
Do you think that 25 is a fair price or could I go a bit lower?

Price is too high. The market is still flooded with boats for sale and the dude must think this time of year justifies the price.
I picked up my 05 Avy with 274 hours in Feb of this year for $25,600. It was a repo from Cali and a smokin deal but it was not a great time of year to sell and I think the seller needed to move it ASAP. I am sure you can find a way better deal or just low ball the guy and move on if he isn't willing to budge.
Remember you are in the drivers seat as the buyer right now.Formertigeowners.com

If you went and looked at it how is that buying over the internet?
If you offer him 25k$ make sure you bring some ammo to explain your offer. If he thinks you've done your homework and that your offer is in line with the market he will be MUCH more willing to negotiate than if he gets the impression your trying to stick it to him sans lube.Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

i am looking into a tige also and had a few questions? I priced out a 2009 rz 2 and was wondering how much if any haggeling people have done over the price of a new boat, or if it pretty much is what it is? Also does anybody have the overall length with the swimplatform on the trailer is? any info would be great thanks
