      Hyco Lake

It's in North Carolina, 1 hour from either Durham or Greenboro.
      Close to the Virginia border.

There are not to many Tige on the lake, I have one seen two other than mine.

        Welcome Laketrash!

What kind of tower are you looking for, Wake Designs makes a killer reverse arch tower. Thats what's going on my next boat.

There is a dealer in Knoxville http://www.searayofknoxville.com/ or Tige Boats of Triad in Oak Ridge, NC @ 336-643-5702.

              Laketrash,

Your closest dealer is Spencer Bowman at Big Boyz Toyz in Oak Ridge, formerly Tige' Boats of the Triad.

He also had a store for a few years at Lake Norman, but apparently sold that dealership / franchise to Wher-Rena in Cornelius.

              Try these links:

              http://www.wher-rena.com/frameset3.a...about_newboats

I'm not sure about any dealers in VA that may be close to you.

I'm in the Raleigh area, keep my boat on Kerr Lake near Henderson.

I bought my 2001 2100V Ltd from Spencer new.
FYI - I had a pretty bad service experience there when my boat was new. Ever since, I've been using Boats Unlimited in Durham for my service. They also have a store in Greensboro which is probably closer to you. It may be sacreligious, since they're the MC dealer in the area, but I haven't had anything they couldn't take care of. They've done my winterization the past 3 seasons, replaced a steering cable last year, and tuned up the prop this past winter.

Good luck - congrat's on the new boat!

              Jeff

                Thanks Jeff

I was getting ready to call the shop in Oak Ridge, but maybe I need to check out the place in Durham.

                Again, thanks for the info.

If you are looking at towers I would recomend Monster Tower, I got my '05 without a tower because I was not crazy about the Tige towers for '05 (sorry, just not my style) so I ordered up a monster with bimini board racks 2 sets of lights and their mirror bracket and it came out less than what the Tige tower would have been alone. Plus the quality of Monster is top shelf, even with their current price increase I don't see how they can be making that much $ off them. Good luck with it!

i would not recommend using spencer. thats where i bought my boat and definetly wouldnt go back. i also use boats unlimited in durham. spoke to a guy thats used them for a few years and he says they're pretty decent. you just cant find great service! ive used them to winterize my boat this season and plan to use them again. so hope that helps.

                      Laketrash,

I would'nt buy a used mule from those guys at Big Boys Toys. Not a repitable place, I think Tige' now has dropped them. Wearina here on Lake Norman has just picked up the Tige' line. They did my winterization for me this year and an impeller change on my 2001 21v, Good rates and service so far.

                      They are in Corneilous, NC

                      Cheers TK

                        Thanks Guys!!

I'm definately not taking it to to Spencer. All I have heard has been horror stories from everyone about Big Boys Toys. If Tige did pull the line from them it's about time it sounds.

Wish the marina at Hyco could pick up the Tige line, but they would still have to figure out the good service part.

The Sport Shop in Roxboro sells Cobalts and Harris Float Boats. They are know for excellent service and customer satisfaction. I bought my first boat from them and they were always on top of things. I have talked to them and they are going to take a look at my transmission issues.

I'll second the recommendation for the Monster Tower. If you contact them, they should be able to hook you up with someone who can install it.
