Once again Samson Sports (Samson Wakeboard Towers) EXCEEDS expectations!
Short story, I haven't had the Tige out of the garage for almost 6 weeks due to a very busy summer schedule. went out to the shop last night to get it ready for a 3 day trip to Detroit Lake. I needed to lower my Samson Razor tower to pull the boat out to go fill it with fuel. As I was lowering the tower it all of a sudden it dropped down quicker than usual; two of the stainless bolts that hold the swivel mechanism in place snapped off.
Nothing was hurt when it came down but after looking at it, the bolts were snapped off inside the swivel part. I started panicing because we have 8 people going with us on this trip and with this part broken... no Tige going anywhere!
I didn't want to attempt the repair myself so as not to screw it up anymore than it was. So this morning I drove an hour to the Samson shop, showed them the broken parts, he said he'd be back in a minute.
A few minutes later, he brought back a new $50.00 swivel mechanism and said I was good to go no charge. He expained a few yearly maintenace procedures to do in the future so it wouldn't happen again. I asked Tia at the front desk to see their lastest clothing stuff and I picked out a T-shirt and she said that was on them!
WOW!!! that is how to take care of a customer. By the way, my boat and tower is 4 years old and they never even once questioned this problem!
Way to go Samson. I can't say enough.
