    Customer Service

Once again Samson Sports (Samson Wakeboard Towers) EXCEEDS expectations!

Short story, I haven't had the Tige out of the garage for almost 6 weeks due to a very busy summer schedule. went out to the shop last night to get it ready for a 3 day trip to Detroit Lake. I needed to lower my Samson Razor tower to pull the boat out to go fill it with fuel. As I was lowering the tower it all of a sudden it dropped down quicker than usual; two of the stainless bolts that hold the swivel mechanism in place snapped off.

Nothing was hurt when it came down but after looking at it, the bolts were snapped off inside the swivel part. I started panicing because we have 8 people going with us on this trip and with this part broken... no Tige going anywhere!

I didn't want to attempt the repair myself so as not to screw it up anymore than it was. So this morning I drove an hour to the Samson shop, showed them the broken parts, he said he'd be back in a minute.

A few minutes later, he brought back a new $50.00 swivel mechanism and said I was good to go no charge. He expained a few yearly maintenace procedures to do in the future so it wouldn't happen again. I asked Tia at the front desk to see their lastest clothing stuff and I picked out a T-shirt and she said that was on them!

WOW!!! that is how to take care of a customer. By the way, my boat and tower is 4 years old and they never even once questioned this problem!

Way to go Samson. I can't say enough.

          Mark,

Looks like some good weather for you at Detroit. Hopefully the wind will stay away.

He did the same for me, when I was just a customer. The quick disconnect speakers use a phono like male plug in the rack mount that inserts into the speaker as you put it in. We had both break on same day and I called and explained. I also told him we had a big weekend coming up, and we can't live without our stereo. He sent me new tower mounts, and gave me instructions on phone, on a saturday. They were 2 day aired at his expense, at no charge.

Another example, when I got the tower, we had 1 wake/surf rack, and one wake/wake. After a couple of months, I love the wake/surf, and realized I should have gotten 2. He just had me remove the arms with an allen wrench and send back to him. He sent me 2 new arms to make it a wake/surf rack, at no charge. I just paid for shipping.

He is more expensive, but you get what you pay for. This is why, when I wanted to start something myself, I drove to washington, and became a Samson dealer. You won't see us sell another tower.

Scott at Sampson and their whole crew is top notch IMO. I only wish that the had a local dealer a little closer to Chicago. I have the Razor with Board racks and since we are still "skiers" I also have a slalom rack on drivers side. Like Sampson I think their product is tops. If you goto the gallery (pictures area my boat has three shots of it posted in the Tige portion of the gallery.

I have never been this sorry for having the accident and replacing me E-Series with A Sampson Razor. I am bored now when I have to lower and raise the Razor tower and miss having to juggle rack, Bimini and the billites and how the jigsaw puzzle worked on. I think my favorite feature was the Bimini. It is one of the Few things in life that I had to reference read info on how get it up. I am glad they addressed some things in current version.

So even though I am Sorry I trashed my stock tower Ragboys review of the Switchblade convinced me to spend the money on the Razor. Thanks Rag Man Now I have too much time on my hands

Only 1 Regret in hindsight. I should have gone with their speakers . My Pro 60's Sound great and are not hard to take off for theft concerns snd we even worked thru getting yet another adapter the allows me to control where the point on the horizontal plane so I be one happy Razor Wesounds dude
