From the south end of the strip, I would say that it's about 45 minutes to Mead if you go through Henderson. Not sure how long it takes if you head out from the north end.
Water level is terrible. I think it's 100 feet or more below full pool. Still a huge lake, but the ramps suck with the low level. -
Rushin, I would also check your local lakes to see what the issue would be about the zebra mussles. You don't want to be dragging those things to the Reno area lakes.
